I have not posted in a while due to my relocating from the City to the Country. Although any transition does include its own amount of stress, this move has had a very positive impact on my Art! Now I can paint from life and it is an adventure discovering my Art subjects. My new neighbor is a Blue Heron who visits the pond behind our new home. I am currently planning a painting including the Heron and the old Barn where he hangs out occasionally. I knew my Fujifilm Camera was not the best but I now realize just how much it needs replacing after trying to get good images of the Blue Heron for painting. My best option is sketches from life! In the City wildlife did not stay around long enough for this to be an option, but...now the Country opens up a whole new set of subjects and options!
