Equine Art Quarter Horse Original Horse Painting
The Quarter Horse is one of my favorites, they have great dispositions and I personally love their conformation. The Quarter Horse is the fastest horse in the world for a Quarter of a Mile. This is one horse that gives 100 percent irregardless of if it is for pleasure or work. I enjoyed painting this beautiful horse and he reminds me a lot of the Quarter Horse I used to have nick named "Dudsi" out of the Dunbar bloodline.

Equine Art Clydesdale
Oil Painting Titled: "Roses are Red"
I finally completed this little Aceo 2.5" x 3.5" oil painting. I like to paint these little collectable miniatures because it gives me the opportunity to use very little paint while studying composition, value, color ect to help determine if I want to paint a larger linen canvas and I certainly do plan on painting this one larger! Happy Trails!

Equine Art WIP Clydesdale Horse
Here is my oil painting work in progress of a beautiful Clydesdale horse. I love these gentle giants! The roses in his hair add a soft touch against all that muscle. Since I finally settled into my decision to paint Equine Art, I must practice, practice and practice some more!!
My website was just updated to a cleaner easier to read format! Check it out! TammiVaughan.com

Arabian Aceo Oil Painting |
This painting reminds me of a horse that I grew up with named Missy and what a story she had! Missy was labeled an outlaw and had injured many men. As a result they were going to (what they refereed to as ,"put her down"). My sister was able to get this beautiful horse and owned her until she passed away of old age. Missy was so intelligent and turns out she did not like men at all. If you were even a little scared, you couldn't ride Missy, she would relish in that fact and torture her potential rider until they would coward away. My best riding experiences growing to adulthood was with this horse and we explored everywhere. I was afraid of saddles and I think Missy liked the freedom, I know I did. Missy always looked out for me and when I was about 9 years old, I Snuck out into the pasture and climbed on her back...backwards! She galloped me straight to the fence...and I held onto her tail! There was never a dull moment nor a dull ride when Missy was around. RIP...Missy.
