I must admit that I was a little disappointed with the lack in color of the leaves this fall here in N.C. To make up for it, I used many different reference photos to paint the Pinto Horses drinking from the cool creek in this fall painting. I wanted to include many fall colors to produce a vibrant but relaxed landscape painting.
